Onsite pipette calibration in Cambridge
Cambridge is on AccuCal’s doorstep, so onsite calibration is fast and easy to arrange. Most of our Cambridge customers choose onsite — our engineer visits your laboratory with all the equipment required and calibrates your pipettes on the bench, usually finishing in a single visit. This avoids the downtime of sending pipettes away and means your equipment is calibrated under the conditions it actually works in.
Postal calibration is also available with a standard turnaround of 3 to 5 working days for batches of up to 15 pipettes.

What our Cambridge pipette calibration includes
Each pipette receives a multi-point gravimetric test at the required volumes on calibrated analytical balances in a controlled environment. Calibration can be carried out against manufacturer specifications, the ISO 8655 standard, or your own customer-defined tolerances. We measure both accuracy and precision and issue a full calibration certificate accepted by most laboratory quality systems.
Minor adjustments and seal replacements are carried out as part of the same visit. If a pipette is found out of specification, we will usually service and re-calibrate it on the spot to keep your lab running.

AccuCal calibrates all major pipette brands and models — Eppendorf, Gilson, Sartorius, Rainin (Mettler Toledo), Thermo Scientific (Finnpipette), BRAND, Socorex, Hamilton — including single channel, multi-channel, and electronic models. Send us a model number for any less common brand and we will confirm we can service it.
